Common Mistakes to Avoid

❌ Wrong background colour — Must be a plain light-coloured background.

❌ Photo too old — UK requires photos taken in the last month, not 6 months like most countries.

❌ Face too small or large — Face must be 29-34mm from chin to crown.

❌ Red eye in photo — Red eye will cause rejection. Retake, don't digitally fix.
